Getting to Royan from La Villa Ouest
From our hotel, there are several ways to get to Royan. By car, take the D25: the journey takes 5 to 10 minutes depending on traffic, and there are several large car parks near the town centre and the seafront. By bike, the Vélodyssée cycle route connects Saint-Palais directly to Royan in 15 to 20 minutes along a safe cycle path through the pine forests. On foot, for keen walkers, the Sentier des Douaniers runs along the coast and takes you to the north of Royan in 45 minutes. Finally, a regular bus service runs to Royan during the season (the Cara’Bus route), with a stop 200 metres from the hotel.
